1. "REVENGE" will work on Kickstart 2.04,3.0 and I hope it will work
unaltered on future machines. If not, this should be a software problem,
so a compatible Anim5 viewer will probably cure any incompatibility (you
may loose the sound if you use this method). Two Megs of ram and a hard
drive (1.5 meg free) will be essential and I can not guarantee that this
anim will run at full speed with any processor less than the 68020.
To run this anim, load from workbench, double click on the "Anims"
drawer, and then you can view the animation by double clicking on its
icon.
2. If you have not already, to install "REVENGE" just check the system
requirements above, and boot from the "REVENGE" disk, or double click
on the install icon. I will not be held responsible for any damage
that the installation script may cause. I do not know of any way it
could cause damage, but I am being careful.
To remove "REVENGE" boot from your hard drive and insert the "REVENGE"
disk, you will find two icons "DELETE-REVENGE" and "DELETE-MAINVIEW".
If you double click on "DELETE-REVENGE" the icon will delete "REVENGE"
and any associated files from your hard drive. "DELETE-MAINVIEW" should
only be used if there are no more anims of mine in the "ANIM" directory
that use "mainview". If you are unsure wether future anims use this
anim player, check the docks (or use "SD" or "DT").
Please note. Two files will not be removed when the "DELETE-MAINVIEW"
icon is used. These files are C/iconj and LIBS/asl.library. Only remove
these files yourself if you are 100% sure that you have no other
programmes that use them.
3. Software I used in to create this Anim was Deluxe Paint, Disney
Animation Studio (I don't use this often, but I believe Pencil Test
leaves DPaint4s "light table for dead), MainActor, and CombineANIM.
MainView is used to play back this animation.
Hardware used to create this was, an A500+, a GVP A530/120, 3 Megs (2
chip, 1 fast), Sound Express, and a monitor.
If you need a tutorial, I would suggest the manual of Disney Animation
Studio. It explains all of the basic animators techniques but is a bit
thin on diagrams of facial expressions.
4. I used Revenge to practise walking and other body movements. I ignored
facial expressions in favour of these. Revenge was also a good testing
ground for planning and completing a production. I had quite a wait
until I could release Revenge as I could not find any anim players that
would handle sound (I am rather secluded from other animators, so I
had no one to ask).
5. I intend to continue to release animations. I fully intend to work
on developing more complex characters, and adding QUALITY soundtracks.
My next two releases will be THE VICTORIA'S DISCIPLES CLUB
(THE VD CLUB), and a secret project that will be absolutely fabulous.
I do know a couple of very skilled musicians but I would like to
contact more reliable people as waiting for a tune seems to stop my
work somewhat. I am not interested in "Techno", so if you can create
"real" sounding classical, reggae, punk, heavy metal or funk, please
get in touch.
6. I welcome any job offers for art, animation, video work or games
graphics.
I will reply to any skilled animators that want to team up with any
good ideas for more ambitious projects, comedy writers (or
writers who can tug at heart strings), and musicians.
My address is 8C Matai St
Whangarei
New Zealand
I can not guarantee that I can be contacted at this address later than
30 December 1994. To contact me after this date, either find an animation
that I am involved with later than 1 August 1994, or write to;

Use this address only if necessary. I would not advise using the second
address after mid 1996.
